Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
In a recent incident outside the State Election Commission office, a commotion ensued as Shubhendu, reportedly angered by the non-nomination of BJP workers, untied the barricade rope.
Before entering the office, he confronted a police officer, questioning whether Mamata had instructed the officer to stand in his way.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh expressed concerns over the delay in Trinamool Congress' candidate announcement for the upcoming elections.
Ghosh suggested that this deliberate delay is a tactic to create confusion among voters. He highlighted instances where the BJP provided support to the Block Development Officer (BDO) during the nomination process in some areas.
However, Ghosh also raised questions about the transparency of the nomination process, citing intentional delays observed in various places.
